Octagonal, bronze, 40 mm. Uncirculated or nearly so. The more astute readers have already noted that a 100th anniversary is a CENTENNIAL,
not a BICENTENNIAL ... but this somehow managed to slip by the designer, medallist, minter, etc. 1,300 medals were struck with this incorrect
text, and an additional 800 were struck later with a corrected die ...
